Jaideep Ahlawat recalls his hilariously honest marriage proposal on The Great Indian Kapil Show. Vijay Varma, Pratik Gandhi, and Jitendra Kumar also join for a fun-filled episode.

Jaideep Ahlawat stole the spotlight on the latest episode of 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' with an uproarious tale about how he proposed to his now-wife, Jyoti Hooda. Known for his intense screen presence, the actor gave fans a glimpse into his off-screen humor and heart during the episode.

While chatting with host Kapil Sharma, Jaideep shared how his relationship with Jyoti began before their days at FTII, where she was his junior. When Kapil cheekily asked if his wife believed his proposal or thought he was “acting,” Jaideep had a hilarious retort ready: “Do you think a Jaat boy like me would know the art of proposing?”

Ghee Cartons and Marriage Proposals: A Jaat Love Story

This sparked a quick-witted joke from fellow guest Vijay Varma, who quipped: “I think he would have taken a ghee carton to her to propose.”

Jaideep, in classic comedic timing, agreed: “Yeah, that’s pretty close. I told her, ‘There won’t be any shortage of milk and ghee in the house. Now the choice is yours.’”

The comment sent the audience, and Kapil’s celebrity couch, into fits of laughter.

A Star-Studded Couch with Heartfelt Stories

The episode featured not only Jaideep Ahlawat, but also acclaimed actors Vijay Varma, Pratik Gandhi, and Jitendra Kumar. The four shared raw, real, and riotous stories from their journey to fame, including running away from home to pursue acting and bonding as FTII batchmates. Their conversations added emotional depth to the otherwise light-hearted banter.

Kapil Sharma’s Show Under Scrutiny Amid Canada Café Incident
