New Delhi: Zendaya and Tom Holland, co-stars of Spider-Man, confirmed their engagement on Monday, according to TMZ. The confirmation comes a day after Zendaya was seen at the Golden Globes with a huge diamond ring, which sparked a lot of fan excitement and rumours.

At the Golden Globes 2025 on Sunday night, Zendaya turned heads on the red carpet, where her stunning ring caught the attention of many. As pictures and videos of her look circulated online, the internet quickly buzzed with rumours that she has secretly gotten engaged with Tom Holland over the holiday season. However, some fans suggested that Zendaya may simply have been showcasing the jewellery, given her role as an ambassador for luxury brands like Bulgari.

The couple's secret engagement is further illuminated by the TMZ article. The publication claims that British actor Tom Holland proposed to Zendaya in a "very intimate setting" in one of her American family homes.
"We’re told Tom didn’t make a huge show of the engagement—it wasn’t a big, over-the-top proposal—instead, it was very romantic and intimate," the source continues. Sources also said that Zendaya's family was not there when the proposal took place, characterising it as "a sweet moment between Tom and Zendaya."
Zendaya and Tom Holland met on the set of ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ in 2016. Five years after starring together in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Zendaya and Tom Holland were first seen by the paparazzi in 2021.
Earlier, Zendaya reflected on their early days together and told Vogue, "We were both very, very young, but his changed overnight, and my career was already kind of going."
