Vivek Oberoi Shares What His 11-Old-Son Vivaan Bought From His Own Pocket Money
Vivek Oberoi shared a proud parenting moment related to his eleven-year-old son, Vivaan.
New Delhi: Actor Vivek Oberoi and his family have been living in Dubai for over three years. Recently, he was featured in an episode of Curly Tales' 'Sunday Brunch', where he shared his love for Dubai and his house. During the conversation, the actor also shared a proud parenting moment related to his son Vivaan. He recounted the thing his son, who was eleven years old, had purchased with his pocket money.
Vivek Oberoi shared, “My son from his own pocket money went and bought like a little a foldable TT (table tennis) table. So, when he knows I'm reaching here at 6, 6:30, it's out. Then, there's a full pre-dinner match.”
Vivek Oberoi Admits Losing Table Tennis Matches Against His Son
Vivek Oberoi recently discussed his heated but fun table tennis games with his son. Vivek said, “Earlier, it was easy. I used to easily trash him under 5. Now he's gone to 15 and sometimes he takes the lead. He's only 11 but you have to see that Joy ‘I'm beating dad. I'm now 7 and he is only 5 points.”
He added, “I initially just to encourage him I was trying to hit some shots out and play a little easy. Now, I have to play-play to win. I mean okay mehnat kara raha hai, paseene nikal raha hai. (He’s making me work hard and sweat to win).”

Vivek said that such experiences can strengthen the bond between parent and child. “It's a sense of Pride for every father right that he's really fighting to give it and it's a great way to bond,” he concluded.
Vivek Oberoi Talks About His Wife
Vivek also mentioned his wife, Priyanka Alva, stating that he met his wife after his mother requested him to meet. He said, "I was flat in love with her. That was love at first sight story and it was not based on just the physicality. It was based on so many amazing things. She blew my mind basically."

Vivek Oberoi met Priyanka Alva via an arranged marriage setup, went on to date for a while, and finally tied the knot on October 29, 2010, in Bengaluru. Vivaan Veer and Amerya Nirvana are their two children. The actor was most recently seen in ‘Indian Police Force’, Rohit Shetty's OTT blockbuster.
