Ravindra Jadeja's T20 World Cup 2024 Campaign In A Nutshell

Even though Ravindra Jadeja is now finally a T20 World Cup winner, his campaign was indeed, a very dismal one, as the all-rounder recorded a solitary wicket throughout the tournament. In 7 innings, the left-arm off-spinner recorded an economy of 7.75 and a strike rate of 84. His solitary wicket came against Afghanistan during the side's Super 8 fixture, as the fixture marked the only time the veteran recorded an economy of less than 7 in a T20 World Cup 2024 match.

With the bat, Ravindra Jadeja had a disastrous campaign as the veteran managed to score merely 35 runs in 5 innings, and out of his 5 innings, only one innings was worthy of being called an impact knock, as the left-handed batsman scored a quickfire 17 off 9 balls against England in the semi-final.

Ravindra Jadeja had a forgettable T20 World Cup 2024 campaign statistically, but the legend will always remember this tournament in his fondest cricketing memories, as he won his second ICC trophy, and first-ever World Cup trophy.
