The incident occurred on Twitter, where she referred to Pawan Kalyan as the 'chief minister of Andhra Pradesh,' causing a wave of reactions and mockery from netizens.
In a tweet posted on Thursday evening, Urvashi shared a picture of herself with co-stars Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej and wrote, “Delighted to share screen space with the esteemed Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh @PawanKalyan in our film #BroTheAvatar 🎥 🍿 releases tomorrow #28thJuly worldwide 🌎 story about an arrogant person who is given a second chance to fix his mistakes after death. As soon as the tweet went live, several Twitter users were quick to react. Some jokingly called it a 'mass tweet,' while others showered her with affectionate messages. Many shared pictures of Pawan Kalyan and humorously referred to him as the 'Esteemed CM of AP.' However, some followers took the opportunity to educate Urvashi, clarifying that Pawan Kalyan is the president of the Jana Sena Party and is in opposition in Andhra Pradesh. The current Chief Minister is Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
A user wrote, “why stop at chief minister 🤣 give him a post of prime minister too…” while another commented, “He is not even MLA 😀 I don’t know when he had become chief minister 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣”.
Despite the reactions and the clarification from her followers, Urvashi did not delete the tweet even after 13 hours.
The film, revolving around an arrogant person getting a second chance to correct his mistakes after death, released today (July 28). Urvashi will be seen in a song in the film.
The film, produced by People Media Factory in association with ZEE Studios, stars Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej in lead roles, along with Ketika Sharma, Brahmanandam, Rohini Molleti, Subbaraju, Tanikella Bharani, and Raja Chembolu.
'Bro The Avatar' is a remake of the Tamil fantasy drama 'Vinodaya Sitham,' which originally starred Samuthirakani and Thambhi Ramaiah in the lead roles.
