New Delhi: The captivating lifestyle content creator and dancing video sensation Mathira Mohammad, hailing from Pakistan, is once again in the middle of a controversy. On her talk show, she recently accused a prominent singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, of physically abusing her.

Mathira Mohammad Accuses Chahat Fateh Ali Khan

Mathira recorded a video in which she harshly criticised Chahat, saying that he treated her with disrespect despite the fact that she always treats his visitors with respect. She can be heard saying, "Being a woman, yes, I was very uncomfortable because I don’t do this, I don’t hug people. Why did they post it [the video] without my permission? I don’t understand."

Despite her reputation for being bold, Mathira emphasised that nobody has the right to intrude on her personal space. Expressing her anger, she said, “I am very much disappointed. At the same time, I always tell people that I have a bold personality, but that doesn’t mean you hug me or put your hand on my back if you see me. Technically, I don’t think any sane person would do this."

Mathira also criticised netizens, noting that people often question the rudeness of others. She went on to say that she had learnt her lesson the hard way that being kind and considerate may lead to people starting to overstep boundaries. The influencer said, "It’s really sad how people are reacting to me when I’m rude, they say I’m being rude, and when I’m respecting him because he's older than me and if someone touches you, I didn’t expect it because people don’t do that. I was shocked, and I thought he wouldn’t post the video, but he did. It’s sad that people think I don’t have a heart and I’m a robot. Crossing boundaries is never okay! This was a very uncomfortable moment for me, and I just wanted to leave the place!"

This is not the first time Mathira has made headlines. In November 2024, Mathira attracted public interest after her private videos were leaked.
