'She Will Do Very Well In Politics': Hema Malini Extends Best Wishes To Kangana Ranaut For Getting BJP Ticket
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has nominated Kangana Ranaut as its candidate from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
New Delhi: Renowned Bollywood actress and BJP member, Hema Malini, has expressed her admiration for Kangana Ranaut's recent foray into politics. Kangana Ranaut has been nominated by the BJP to contest in the 2024 Lok Sabha General Elections from her native Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Hema Malini, herself an esteemed member of the Lok Sabha representing the Mathura constituency, shared her thoughts on Kangana's new venture.
Speaking to the ANI news agency, Hema Malini conveyed her congratulations to Kangana and expressed her delight at the actress's decision to enter politics. She remarked, "Congratulations Kangana for coming into politics. We wish you all the luck for you… You are a wonderful girl.. She has fought alone for her existence. I’m sure that she will do well in politics also."
Addressing the recent controversy surrounding between Supriya Shrinate and Kangana Ranaut, Hema Malini emphasised the need for dignity, particularly within public figures. She said, “Jisne jo kaha hai bohot hi galat kaha hai, aisa bolna nahi chaye. As film stars we have a lot of dignity baaki shayd logo mein nahi hoga. Jo Congress ke member ne kaha hai. She should take it back and Kangana will fight it back nicely (Whatever the person has said is absolutely wrong, it should not be said like this. Among film stars, they have a lot of dignity, perhaps not many others).”
