Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati Tour Ticket Resold For Rs 54 Lakh In US, Rs 234 Crore Revenue Generated: Manager

Diljit Dosanjh’s ongoing Dil-Luminati tour's North American leg recently wrapped up and according to his manager, Sonali Singh, the concerts generated a whopping Rs 234 crore in revenue.

His North American tour recently wrapped up and according to his manager, Sonali Singh, the concerts generated a whopping $28 million (around Rs 234 crore) in revenue.

In an interview with Connect Cine, Sonali offered a glimpse behind the scenes of Diljit’s concerts, revealing some staggering figures. “There were resellers who were selling tickets for $64,000 (Rs 54 lakh) and $55,000 (Rs 46 lakh), and there were also buyers for it,” she said. She was quick to clarify that these prices were set by resellers, not the official ticket outlets, pointing to a growing trend of ticket scalping. Sonali further said, “We generated close to $28 million (Rs 234 crore) during his North America Dil-Luminati tour.”

Dil-Luminati tour Abu Dhabi

As Diljit gears up for the Indian segment of his Dil-Luminati tour, fans in Abu Dhabi are also eagerly awaiting his performance. Reflecting on the response from the city, Sonali shared, “In Abu Dhabi, we have sold close to 30,000 tickets–the highest for any Indian artist.”

Tickets for the Indian leg of the Dil-Luminati tour went on sale this Thursday, and they were snapped up in record time.  

Dil-Luminati Tour (India) will kick off at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on October 26, then move to Hyderabad on November 15, Ahmedabad on November 17, Lucknow on November 22, Pune on November 24, Kolkata on November 30, Bengaluru on December 6, Indore on December 8, and Chandigarh on December 14. The final stop will be in Guwahati on December 29.

Speaking of the tour, Diljit said in a statement, "Bringing the Dil-Luminati Tour to India is a dream come true. India, get ready, because Punjabi ghar aa gaye oye! We're going to make history together – I can promise you a night you'll never forget!"
