Netizens brutally trolled rapper Badshah as he shared his intention to wear his most expensive sneakers at his Grammy win.
Rapper and musician Badshah is famous for his flashy and expensive lifestyle choices. The most recent confession by Badshah about his shoe collection has sneakerheads going wild. A pair of Nike X Kanye West trainers, valued at Rs 22 lakh, is among the most expensive shoes in Badshah's collection of more than a thousand pairs of shoes. However, his comment about it has spread like wildfire online. According to the rapper, he saved up this expensive pair for a momentous occasion: his Grammy win.
In a recent interview with The Lallantop, Badshah opened up about his music career, personal life, and his impressive shoe collection. When questioned about his 500-plus shoes, the rapper intervened and corrected the questioner, saying it's more than 1,000 pairs.
Badhshah shared, “Zyada hain, 500 kamm bol rahe ho. Waise toh 500 ke baad ginna chod diya tha lekin fir jab ghar shift kar rahe the toh fir gine toh 1000 se uper the (500 is less. Actually, I had stopped counting after 500, but then when we were shifting house, I counted them again and they were above 1000).”
Badshah’s Most Expensive Pair Of Shoes Worth Rs 22 Lakh
Talking about his most expensive shoes, Badhshah shared, “I have an expensive shoe worth Rs 22 lakh, a Nike shoe called Yeezy II. It was made by Kanye West in collaboration with Nike and after that, Kanye West left Nike. So, it was a very significant moment for pop culture, sneakerheads and streetwear itself. So, that shoe is Red October, its colour is red and its current value is Rs 22 lakhs. When I bought it, it was for Rs 6 lakh, so now its current market value is Rs 22 lakh.”
The rapper also mentioned that he will not spend Rs 22 Lakh on shoes at this point in time.
Badhshah shared his intention to wear this sneaker on a special occasion, such as winning a Grammy. “Just because I am a sneakerhead, I bought it. The day, I will win Grammy, I will go wearing that sneaker,” he concluded.

After a clip of Badshah’s interview went viral, internet users started trolling him. Netizens criticised him saying he could never win a Grammy.
A user wrote, "Fir to tu wo shoe nahi pahan payega bhai", while another one agreed, “Matlab kabhi nhi pehnega” (with a laughing emoji).
