Aditya Narayan Controversy: Fans Disappointed With Singer's Reaction; Say 'Kuch To Seekh Lete Udit Narayan Se'

Aditya Narayan is in the center of a controversy following the release of a video that went viral online showing him taking a fan's phone and throwing it at a recent performance in Chhattisgarh.

New Delhi: Aditya Narayan, a singer and television host, is in the center of a controversy following the release of a video that went viral online showing him taking a fan's phone and throwing it at a recent performance in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. Aditya can be heard performing the song Aaj Ki Raat from the 2006 movie ‘Don’ in the now-viral video. Aditya walked up to the audience in the middle of his performance and tried to take a phone call from a fan. Aditya hit the fan with the microphone, snatched the phone by force, and threw it away when the person did not give it up before continuing on with his act.

The singer's motivation for acting in this way is yet unknown. However, a clarification from Aditya's event manager later about the fan pulling the singer's leg which led to the whole incident to happen has also bee issued.

Meanwhile, many of Aditya's supporters have voiced their displeasure with his actions after the incident. They have expressed their complaints and critiqued his behavior by sharing notes on X (Twitter).

“Aditya Narayan, son of ace singer Udit Narayan, gained popularity through fans' support, but now he assaults a fan by throwing his mobile. # Aditya Narayan should be banned from participating in concerts for a couple of years and apologise to the fan for his actions. He needs a reality check for his arrogant behaviour. #BanAdityaNarayan.” A user wrote.

 

“Such a disgraceful act. People who desire fame should also learn to handle it with grace. This is the same person who just a while back was crying and pleading for work. Utterly shameful #AdityaNarayan.” Another shared.

 

“Aditya Narayan throws the phone of his fan and hits him with his mic. That phone would be someone or his father's hard-earned money. Really disgusting act by #AdityaNarayan. Retweet if u are angry at #AdityaNarayan,” read a note.

 

Another wrote, "#AdityaNarayan misbehave with a fan during his concert as he was captured hitting the fan with the mic and throwing away his phone in the crowd. This is unacceptable."

 

A user called out the celebrity, saying, "This is very shameful act by #AdityaNarayan," reminding him of the heritage of his father, Udit Narayan. Is this the son of Udit Narayan, the Very Humble? #AdityaNarayan.”

Additionally, a fan shared a video of Udit Narayan at a concert and commented, “Aditya Narayan kuch to Sikh leta Udit Narayan ji se kitne pyare aadmi hai [Aditya Narayan must learn something from Udit Narayan ji; he's such a lovely person].

Aditya Narayan is known for popular songs such as Ishqyaun Dhishqyaun, Main Nikla Gaddi Leke, and Tattad Tattad.
