This made netizens emotional as they went down the memory lane with this evergreen song. Taking to the comments section, IMDb wrote, "We've been falling in love with this love story since 1995". In addition, fans also expressed their views and poured in their comments. One of them said, "This makes me so happy! A cult classic and an amazingly iconic song! Here for this representation.", while another one said, "DDLJ - the longest running movie in the history of Indian cinema. Legacy of Shah Rukh Khan."

A third comment floated in which read, "The academy posting this makes me emotional. These two have contributed so much to Bollywood and I look forward to the day that they are honored as well!"

'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge' holds the title of being the longest-running film in the history of Indian cinema, with continuous screenings at Mumbai’s Maratha Mandir theatre for over 27 years. The film also stars Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal, Satish Shah, Himani Shivpuri, and Anupam Kher among others in pivotal roles.

In the acclaimed docu-series 'The Romantics', Shah Rukh Khan decoded the incredible success of DDLJ which has been entertaining people worldwide for generations and said that Aditya Chopra was a genius in cracking the classic four-quadrant film that appealed to everyone, across ages, globally, and that too with his first directorial!

He said, "DDLJ kind of seeps in old values, but it is so wonderfully in a new bottle. The older generation, when they went to see this film, it was very easy for them to turn around, ‘see this is what I say India is’. And still, it was a very youth-oriented love story. Normally, love stories are Romeo and Juliet, where you go against the system, the family, you know, West Side Story.“

'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' is a 1995 musical romance film written and directed by Aditya Chopra. It was produced by Yash Chopra's Yash Raj Films starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in lead roles.
