NEW DELHI: Hours before the crucial floor test in Karnataka Assembly, the Congress has alleged that BS Yeddyurappa's son BY Vijayendra has held two of its MLAs hostage in a hotel.
VS Ugrappa of Congress said that BY Vijayendra called the wife of a Congress MLA & asked her to request to her husband to vote for Yeddyurappa. Congress also released an alleged audio of newly elected Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa offering money and berth to Congress MLAs. The Congress social media in charge shared the audio clip of Yeddyurappa bribing Congress MLA BC Patil. The post was captioned - “Shameless Yeddyurappa doing horse trading openly,”. On Friday, Congress said that Janardhan Reddy offered hundreds of crore rupees and a minister portfolio to Raichur rural MLA Basvanagowda Daddal over the phone.He (BJP's BY Vijayendra) called the wife of a Congress MLA & asked her to request to her husband to vote for Yeddyurappa.
