Rahul Gandhi has mocked PM Modi for saying he was sent by 'parmaatma' in a viral video. He said if Kanhaiya Kumar had said this, he would have asked him not to say such things in public.
A video of a speech by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in Delhi has gone viral in which he mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for an interview where he purportedly said: "I am convinced that 'parmaatma' (the almighty) has sent me." Addressing a crowd of Congress supporters, Rahul Gandhi said: "The nation's Prime Minister, in interviews with his minions, says I am not biological. Like the country's people who are biological beings... Narendra Modi says all are biological but he's not. He says he's been sent by the 'parmaatma' [almighty] from above for a mission."
He said: "If Kanhaiya [Kumar] comes and tells me such things in confidence in a closed room, I would request him with folded hands 'don't say such things' in front of others."

PM Modi in a recent interview to a news channel said: "Till my mother was alive, I felt maybe I was born biologically. But after my mother passed away, I thought about my experiences and then was convinced that parmaatma has sent me. The energy in me is not generated by my biological body. It's God who wants to get some work done by me. That's why God has given me the capability, a good heart, and motivation to do the work. I am only an instrument of God."
The clip of the interview went viral soon, picking on which Rahul Gandhi made the jibe at the Prime Minister. PM Modi and Rahul Gandhi have been engaged in a bitter war of words amid the ongoing elections over various issues. PM Modi has repeatedly claimed that the Congress wants to snatch the 'mangalsutra' and properties of Hindus, in reference to the Congress' "wealth redistribution" promise on its poll manifesto, and that Pakistan wants Rahul Gandhi as the PM. Rahul Gandhi, on the other hand, has alleged that the BJP wants to scrap the Constitution of India and snatch the rights of minorities, and that democracy is in danger under the Modi regime.
