UP Election Phase 2 Assembly Constituencies: In the second phase, 55 assembly constituencies from nine districts will go to poll on February 14. Polling will be held in 7 phases in UP.
New Delhi: The second phase of the elections in UP is to take place on February 14, Monday. 55 assembly constituencies from nine districts will be going to the polls as campaigning for the second phase came to an end on February 12, Saturday.
During the second phase of UP Election 2022, 586 candidates are in the fray for 55 assembly seats. In the second phase, around 2 crore voters will cast their votes in around 17,000 polling booths.
In the 2017 UP assembly elections, BJP had won 40 seats of the 55 assembly seats going to polls in the second phase on Monday. In the 2017 UP assembly polls, Samajwadi Party (SP) had won 13 seats, and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) bagged 2 seats.
