Shameful that Rahul needed sister Priyanka's help for campaigning in Amethi: Smriti Irani
Speaking further on Priyanka, Smriti Irani said, “She did not know my name 5 years back, now she keeps taking my name, such an accomplishment. Nowadays she takes her husband's name less and my name more”.
New Delhi: As the voting is underway for the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Smriti Irani spoke to ABP News and took jibes at Congress President and Amethi candidate saying, “People of Amethi have understood the difference between a hardworking common person and a useless prince.”
Lashing out at Priyanka Gandhi for campaigning for her brother, Irani said “It’s shameful that Rahul Gandhi needs his sister to campaign for him. I don’t have anyone from my family campaigning for me here”.
It is interesting to know that UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Bhojpuri actor turned politician Nirahua have both campaigned for Smriti Irani in Amethi for the Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking further on Priyanka, Smriti Irani said, “She did not know my name 5 years back, now she keeps taking my name, such an accomplishment. Nowadays she takes her husband's name less and my name more”.
