'Till Last Minute...': Rahul Gandhi's Video Message To Workers As Campaigning Ends For 7th Phase

As campaigning concludes for the last phase of Lok Sabha polls, Rahul Gandhi shared a video statement on X, "saluting the great people of the country and brave lions workers of Congress".

As campaigning for the seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections2024 concluded on Thursday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi shared a video statement on X, "saluting the great people of the country and brave lions workers of Congress". He claimed that his party succeeded in addressing real issues of public concern and raising the voice of farmers, workers, youth, women and deprived, despite repeated attempts of "misdirection by the Prime Minister". He further urged the party supporters to keep a "keen" eye on polling booths and strong rooms till "the last moment". 

Rahul Gandhi stated, "Today, on the last day of campaigning, while saluting the great people of the country, I want to say with confidence to the brave lion workers of Congress that the government of India is going to be formed."

"I heartily thank all the leaders and workers of the alliance who stood without bowing to save the Constitution and institutions of the country," he added. 

"We succeeded in fighting the elections on real issues of public concern and raised the voice of farmers, workers, youth, women, and the deprived despite repeated attempts of misdirection by the Prime Minister," he reiterated. 

"Together, we presented to the country revolutionary guarantees that would change the lives of every section of the society as an alternative vision and spread our message to every corner of the country," Gandhi said. 

He appealed to supporters, "I appeal to all of you to keep an eye on the polling booths and strong rooms till the last moment," adding, "I.N.D.I.A is going to win". 

Notably, on the last day of campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, leaders of the top political parties intensified their efforts with last-minute rallies. Voting will be held on June 1 in 47 parliamentary constituencies across seven states and the Union Territory of Chandigarh. 

Rahul Gandhi Held Over 100 Rallies In 2024 Lok Sabha Campaigning 

The Congress's electioneering for the 2024 polls, which started slowly on March 16, soon picked up pace with the party's top leadership engaging with the electorate through various promises. Rahul Gandhi led the party's campaign for over two and a half months. 

During the 75-day campaign period, from March 16 to May 31, Rahul Gandhi engaged with the public through election rallies, roadshows, public interactions, and other campaign events, including Nyay Sammelans and Nyay March. 

The Wayanad MP addressed a total of 107 poll rallies and public interaction programs during the 75-day period, News 18 reported citing the party's campaign organisers. In the later phases of the campaign, he was seen addressing at least two election rallies daily.
