PM Modi To Visit Jharkhand & West Bengal Today, Will Launch Multiple Development Projects
PM Modi will arrive at Sindri, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, at roughly 11 a.m. on Friday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Bihar on March 1 and 2, where he will launch and lay the groundwork for a number of development projects, including rail, road, and electricity, ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. PM Modi will arrive at Sindri, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, at roughly 11 a.m. on Friday. He will take part in a public event to launch, dedicate, and lay the groundwork for several development projects totaling Rs 35,700 crore in Jharkhand.
The state's railway sector is set to get a big boost when the Prime Minister flags off three new trains.
On Friday, Prime Minister Modi will also dedicate the resurrected Sindri fertilizer factory in Jharkhand, which is handled by Hindustan Urvarak and Rasayan Limited. According to the PMO, this will be the country's third fertilizer factory to be restarted, after Gorakhpur and Ramagundam.
Jharkhand Governor C P Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Champai Soren, and Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers Mansukh Mandaviya will attend the ceremony, according to a government announcement.
Furthermore, he will also dedicate the North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project in Jharkhand's Chatra district to the country.
PM Modi In West Bengal
The Prime Minister is slated to arrive visit West Bengal on Friday afternoon. According to his schedule, PM Modi would stay at Kolkata's Raj Bhavan.
Later, he is scheduled to attend a public gathering in Arambagh, Hooghly district, and dedicate projects worth Rs 7,200 crore to the area.

He will also dedicate to the country and lay the groundwork for several infrastructure improvement projects at Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port in Kolkata, totaling over Rs 1000 crore. According to the official announcement, the new port projects will significantly increase production by allowing for faster and safer cargo processing and evacuation.
The other projects to be launched include major rail projects totaling around Rs 2680 crore.
