PM Modi Witnesses Integrated Tri-Service Firepower, Manoeuvre Exercise In Pokharan
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Rajasthan's Pokhran on Tuesday to attend the Bharat Shakti event showcasing prowess of indigenous manufactured defence equipment.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday witnessed the prowess of indigenously manufactured defence equipment of the three services in the arid terrain of of Rajasthan's Pokhran. The mega exercise 'Bharat Shakti', which is expected to be held for around 50 minutes involved the demonstration of LCA Tejas, ALH Mk-IV, LCH Prachand, mobile anti-drone system, BMP-II and its variants, NAMICA (Nag Missile Carrier), T90 tanks, Dhanush, K9 Vajra and Pinaka rockets are among other platforms.
The country's top military brass was also present during the event, along with delegates from over 30 countries.

Ahead of the event, Additional Director General, Army Design Bureau, Major General C S Mann had told reporters in the national capital on Saturday that 'Bharat Shakti' will demonstrate the prowess of indigenously manufactured defence equipment of the three services.
It will showcase the "shock and awe" impact that the armed forces seek to achieve in an operational situation with manoeuvre and fighting capabilities, he added.
