'Pakistan Praying To Make Rahul Gandhi PM': PM Modi's Dig Over Fawad Chaudhry's Social Media Post

While speaking to the crowd in Gujarat's Anand, PM Modi asserted that the Congress’s "partnership" with Pakistan is now been exposed. Read on to know more.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on a two-day tour of Gujarat, Delivered a scathing critique of the Congress party during a public gathering in Ananad on Thursday. While speaking to the crowd, Modi asserted that the Congress’s influence in India is waning, and now leaders of Pakistan want him to become the Prime Minister. He further said that the “partnership” between Congress and Pakistan has been exposed now. PM apparently took a dig at the Congress MP days after former Pakistani minister Fawad Chaudhary praised the Wayanad MP in an X post.

“Look at the coincidence, today Congress is getting weak in India. The funny thing is that here Congress is dying and there Pakistan is crying. Now Pakistani leaders are praying for Congress. Pakistan is eager to make the prince the Prime Minister,” PM Modi remarked. Adding, “Congress is already a fan of Pakistan. This partnership between Pakistan and Congress has now been completely exposed”.

This comes days after former Pakistani Foreign Minister Fawad Chaudhary praised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. In an X post, tagging a video in which the Wayanad MP can be heard delivering a speech, Fawad said, "Rahul on fire". Take a look at the post here:

Accusing Congress of proliferating falsehoods, PM Modi said, “Today people are asking why the Congress has become so agitated. Today Congress has become a fake factory i.e. a factory of fake goods. Why is Congress selling lies by calling itself a shop of love (Mohobbat ki dukaan)?”

He asserted that Congress’s previous governance perpetuated divisions in society, referring to the era before his tenure when, he claimed, there were two constituencies and flags in India due to Congress’s negligence towards integrating Kashmir fully into the Indian Union.

“Before the arrival of Modi, there were two constitutions and two flags in this country. The prince's party Congress and his family members did not allow the Constitution to be implemented in the country,” the Prime Minister said.

“The Constitution of India was not applicable in Kashmir. Article 370 was sitting like a wall. This son from Sardar Patel's land demolished Article 370 and paid tribute to Sardar Saheb,” he added.

PM Modi further criticised the Congress for neglecting tribal and backward communities. “Congress never understood that there is a tribal society in our country too. For so many years, Congress did not even create a separate ministry for tribals. The BJP government created a separate ministry and a separate budget for tribals,” he said.

“Congress never cared about SC/ST. Before the 90s, Congress was not in favour of OBC reservation i.e. reservation for Bakshi Panch,” he added.

“For years the OBC community has been saying that the OBC Commission and the Bakshipanch Commission should be given constitutional status. Congress did not listen to him at all,” the Prime Minister said.
