UP Election 2022: PM Modi said that the work of cleaning the Ganga was not done from a communal point of view but environmental protection.
New Delhi: Campaigning for the fifth phase of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched a massive attack on opposition and said "Opposition sees development works in Ayodhya and Kashi through communal lens" as quoted by news agency PTI.

PM Modi reached Prayagraj to campaign for the seven assembly seats of Pratapgarh including Soraon, Pratappur, Phulpur, Handia, Bara, Meja, Karchana, Phaphamau, City North, City South, City West in the district.
The PM said that the work of cleaning the Ganga was not done from a communal point of view but environmental protection. He also emphasised natural farming along the banks of the Ganga river.

“In this Budget, mainly seven ways have been suggested to make agriculture modern and smart. Firstly, on the banks of the Ganga river, natural farming within the ambit of five kilometers should be promoted in a mission mode. Secondly, modern technology in agriculture and horticulture will be made available to the farmers,” said PM Modi as quoted by ANI.

Additionally, the PM also pointed out that transportation of agricultural items will help a lift with new logistics arrangements through the PM Gati-Shakti plan.
“Thirdly, emphasis has been laid on empowering ‘Mission Oil Palm’ to reduce the import of edible oil,” he said.
"The fifth solution in the Budget calls for better agri-waste management. It will translate into better incomes for farmers by means of the promotion of waste to energy. The sixth solution is that more than one and a half lakh post offices of the country will get facilities like regular banking so that farmers do not face any problem," he added.
PM likewise abided upon the possibility of human resource development in the syllabus connected with agri-research.
“Also, skill development and human resource development in the syllabus related to agri-research and education will be changed according to the requirements of the modern times,” he said.
Meanwhile, PM also addressed a webinar on the positive impact of Union Budget 2022 in the Agriculture sector.
