The BJP is all set to hold numerous rallies, while Congress, under Rahul Gandhi's leadership, is promoting its manifesto, touting its potential to transform India.

With the much-awaited Lok Sabha polls' first phase drawing near, the political parties have fastened their campaigns all across the country. PM Modi In Bihar, Bengal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is spearheading the election campaign for the saffron party. Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to lead NDA's rally in Bihar at 11 am from Nawada. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is expected to attend the rally.

Later in the day, at around 2.30 pm, PM Modi will be addressing another rally in West Bengal's Jalpaiguri. It is to be noted that a day after the state witnessed mega rallies in Cooch Behar, a recent development from Sandeshkhali has taken all the limelight. On Saturday, a team of the National Investigative Agency (NIA) was attacked by villagers as they were opposing the probe the team was conducting in a blast case. Read the full report here

The BJP swiftly reacted to the development, its national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla accused the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) of orchestrating an attack on NIA officials in Bhupatinagar to hinder the investigation into a bomb blast case. He described the incident as "Sandeshkhalli 2.0". Poonawalla alleged it was a premeditated attempt by the state to obstruct the probe.

In the evening, the Prime Minister is slated to hold a roadshow in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur at 6.30 pm. The roadshow will be covering a 1.2-km route from Shaheed Bhagat Singh crossing to Adi Shankaracharya crossing in the Gorakhpur region.

Meanwhile, BJP president JP Nadda is in Tamil Nadu today. He will hold public meetings in Ariyalur, Karur, Virudhunagar, and Tiruchirappalli.

Congress's Poll Campaign In Full-Swing

Conversely, the Congress party unveiled its manifesto on Friday. The grand old party held a large rally in Telangana's Tukkuguda, led by Rahul Gandhi on Saturday.

Gandhi hailed the party's manifesto, calling it 'revolutionary' for the Lok Sabha elections. Gandhi claimed it could overhaul the entire country. He asserted that the manifesto has the potential to bring about major changes in the lives of the underprivileged section of society: farmers, youth, and women.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and former president Sonia Gandhi addressed a rally in Rajasthan yesterday. The grand old party's campaign continues today with rallies across various regions.

The first phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2024 is scheduled for April 19, with vote counting slated for June 4.
