New Delhi: In yet another controversial statement, Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan took on his opponent Bharatiya Janta Party leader Jaya Prada, who is contesting against him from Rampur. While addressing a public gathering in Rampur Khan said “I didn’t open dance schools, I opened proper schools and universities.” Khan was taking an indirect jibe at Jaya Prada, who has served a long time as an actress. Responding to Aazam Khan’s remarks, Jaya Prada said “Azam Khan cannot help as he is used to making such remarks”. Even Bharatiya Janta Party spokesperson Shahanawaz Hussain took on Azam Khan and said “Azam Khan knows that he will lose the elections to Jaya Prada, therefore hs is making such remarks”. This isn’t the first time Azam Khan has landed himself in controversy. Batao logon, Pakistan ka agent main hun ya, You were the friend of Nawaz Sharif ( former Pak PM) and now Imran Khan is waiting for you to become the PM again, tell me who's the agent of Pakistan me or..," Azham Khan was quoted by news agency ANI as saying.
