Lok Sabha Election Results: The leaders of the BJP and the NDA bloc arrived in Delhi for the crucial meeting to chalk out further strategy after the poll results.

Lok Sabha Election Results: The meeting of MPs of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is likely to be held on either June 6 or 7, according to ABP News sources. Meanwhile, the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the NDA bloc were arriving in Delhi for the crucial meeting to chalk out further strategy after the Lok Sabha election results, which saw neither the BJP nor the Congress attaining a majority.

This comes as the opposition camp, I.N.D.I.A which improved its seat tally in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, is set to hold a meeting to decide on the next move and plan the future course of action. While the BJP lost its majority in the lower house following the announcement of results on Tuesday, the NDA bloc led by it easily passed the magic number of 272 seats.

With no party attaining a clear majority, the ball is in the court of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, who have emerged as the potential kingmakers.

Nitish Kumar The Kingmaker

Following the mandate on Tuesday, ABP News sources had said that the opposition's I.N.D.I.A bloc, which is searching possibilities of forming the government at the Centre, approached Nitish Kumar to return to the alliance. Amid all the speculations, the Bihar CM is set to arrive in the ntional capital to attend the NDA meet.

Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal (United) secured 12 seats in Bihar. In an interesting turn of events, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav was also spotted in the same flight as Nitish Kumar today, flying to Delhi. On Tuesday, It was confirmed that Kumar will be flying to Delhi on June 5 for the NDA meeting.

According to ABP News sources, Congress's priority is not to lead goevrnment by itself. The party has kept the option of supporting smaller allies open in the government. The top leaders of the grand old party will also brief the other alliance leaders in the meeting regarding the talks held yesterday with Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar.

The bloc will likely have a discussion on how to bring the Nitish Kumar-led JDU and Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP on board, sources say.
