Jammu & Kashmir Election Phase 2: 10.22% Voter Turnout Recorded Till 9 Am

Jammu Kashmir Election 2024 Phase 2: A voter turnout of 10.22 percent has been recorded by 9.00 am in the second phase of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, as per the Election Commission of India. Over 13,000 polling staff are set to oversee the voting process at 3,502 polling stations across 26 assembly constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir for the second phase of elections. Security forces, including police, armed police, and central paramilitary personnel, have been deployed to ensure a secure voting environment, as officials confirmed that a multi-tier security blanket has been established around each polling station.
