1. Amardeep Dhanda
The sitting JJP MLA from Haryana's Julana Assembly seat was defeated by Congress candidate and Olympic wrestler Vinesh Phogat who defeated BJP’s Yogesh Kumar in Julana constituency.
The seat which saw a close battle between BJP and Congress was held by JJP’s Amarjeet Dhanda who won it in the 2019 polls, when the party emerged as the kingmaker in forming the government and allied with the BJP. The Julana seat was held by the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) from 2009 to 2019.
3. Abhay Chautala
In a major blow to Chautala family, Abhay Chautala the outgoing MLA of the Haryana Legislative Assembly from Ellenabad seat won the seat in the 2014 elections by defeating Pawan Beniwal from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Today, Chautala, was defeated by Congress candidate Bharat Singh Beniwal by a margin of 15,000 votes.
4. Pradeep Narwal
The 33-year-old Dalit leader who got a ticket from the Bawani Khera Assembly constituency of Haryana on the recommendation of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, lost to Bharatiya Janata Party’s Kapoor Singh by 21,874 votes.
Narwal is a core member of Priyanka Gandhi's team, and is the secretary incharge of western Uttar Pradesh. Narwal, a JNU alumnus, who is also a son of a former paramilitary jawan, hails from Sonipat.
