Gujarat Election 2022: Here's How You Can Check Your Nearest Polling Station Online

Gujarat Assembly Polls: Voters can find their polling booths even if they do not have their voter ID cards with them.

Gujarat is all set to vote for the first phase of the 2022 assembly elections on Thursday, December 1. Citizens can now vote using several documents apart from the Voter ID card- including Aadhar Card, Bank Passbook, and PAN card among others. One needs to check the electoral list to ensure that his/her name is on the list of people who can vote in the election. 

Besides this, citizens also need to be sure about their polling booth where they can cast their votes. A voter can only vote at the designated polling booth allotted to him/her by the election commission. Here's how you can check your polling booth online:

  1. Open the website www.nvsp.in
  2. Click on the option 'Know Your'.
  3. It will show a page asking for your 'EPIC No' which is the voter ID number mentioned on your voter ID card.
  4. Enter your EPIC number and click on the 'Search' button.
  5. It will display your booth name, and the booth level officer's (BLO) name and number.

Gujarat Election 2022: Here's How You Can Check Your Nearest Polling Station Online

You can search your polling booth even if do not have your voter ID card with you.

  1. Go to the website www.sec.gujarat.gov.in
  2. Click on the 'Search Your Name & Polling Station in Voter List Option'.
  3. Choose 'District/Taluka Pachayat' from the available 'Search Type' options.
  4. Choose the District and Taluka from the drop-down menu.
  5. Choose the 'Name' option if you do not have your voter Id card with you OR choose 'EPIC No' if you have your voter ID card.
  6. Enter the details Surname, First Name, and other details as asked.
  7. Enter CAPTCHA and click on 'Search'.
