New Delhi: In some fresh trouble for Gautam Gambhir, the Election Commission on Saturday directed East Delhi Returning Officer to file an FIR against the BJP candidate from East Delhi parliamentary constituency for "holding a rally in East Delhi without permission." This comes a day after the AAP AAP cornerned Gambhir on the allegation that he had double entries in voters list and seeking his disqualification from 2019 elections. The BJP was quit to hit back claiming AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal's wife currently held three voter identity cards  one each for Delhi, UP and West Bengal. Atishi, the AAP candidate from East Delhi on Friday lodged "a criminal complaint against Gambhir in Tis Hazari Court." She alleged that the 37-year-old former cricketer has two voter IDs of Rajendra Nagar and Karol Bagh, and he faces up to one year in prison for this offence. Gautam Gambhir is the richest among all the candidates in fray for the Lok Sabha election in Delhi with total assets accounting to Rs 147 core. He has shown an income of nearly Rs 12.40 crore in the income tax returns filed for 2017-18. His wife Natasha Gambhir declared an income of Rs 6.15 lakh in the IT returns filed in the same period.
