Arvind Kejriwal Promises 24x7 Free Electricity, Says 'Modi Cannot Fulfil His Guarantees As He Will Retire Soon'

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal held a press conference and announced '10 guarantees of Kejriwal for' the Lok Sabha Elections 2024

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday held a press conference with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and other party leaders and announced '10 guarantees of Kejriwal' for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. He said that this was delayed due to his arrest but there are still many phases of elections left.

"I have not discussed it with the rest of the INDIA alliance but this is like a guarantee that no one will have any problems with. I take this guarantee that after the INDIA alliance comes to power, I will make sure that these guarantees are implemented..."

Kejriwal's announced a broad spectrum of public welfare initiatives, including free electricity and improved healthcare for the country.

Attacking BJP, Kejriwal asked where are the guarantees PM Modi announced earlier. He said PM Modi could not fulfill his guarantee of 24x7 electricty to the entire country and questioned what happened to the promise of SMART cities.

"BJP has always failed on its promises; my guarantees have proven track record," Kejriwal said. "People have to decide whether to go for 'Kejriwal ki Guarantee' or 'Modi Guarantee."

The AAP chief said that they have delivered the promise of free electricity Delhi and Punjab and will replicate the model throughout India. He also promised to make government schools better in India.

"Nation first is one our fourth guarantee," Kejriwal said while promising to scrap the Agniveer scheme.

Speaking at the conference he said, "China has occupied our land but our central govt is denying it...There is a lot of strength in our army. All the land of the country which has been occupied by China will be freed. For this, efforts will be made at the diplomatic level on one side and the Army will be given complete freedom to take whatever steps it wants to take regarding this...A scheme like Agniveer is harmful for the army and the youth are also troubled by it..."

'BJP Failed To Break AAP': Arvind Kejriwal Says 'SC Order No Less Than A Miracle, God's Plan'

Earlier in day, after holding a meet with his AAP MLAs said that the Supreme Court's order granting him bail was no less than a miracle. Kejriwal congratulated his party MLAs and said that BJP failed miserably to break AAP, and topple the governments in NCT and Punjab. Kejriwal further called it God's plan and said that "it feels like God wants me to do something and that's why I got released."

Kejriwal also said that only Aam Aadmi Party can now give a future to this country and that is why the BJP is so afraid of the party.

While praising AAP MLAs, Kejriwal said that despite all efforts from BJP to break AAP, the MLAs did not budge to their pressure and the Party become stronger after his arrest.

"Neither they could topple our government, nor were they able to break our MLAs, nor were they able to dent our Punjab government. Their entire plan failed; on the contrary, the entire political narrative went against them. I came to know that these people tried to break you by luring and threatening you. But you all stayed strong, for this, the party and the country also feel proud...I have come out for 21 days and have to go back again on the 2nd June, so after that, you all have to keep the party under control because, I understand that only the Aam Aadmi Party can now give a future to this country..."

Before sharing the video message, Kejriwal held a meeting with party MLAs, to discuss strategy for the Lok Sabha elections, a day after being released from Tihar jail. He was granted interim bail by the Supreme Court on Friday after being arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case linked to the now scrapped Delhi excise policy case.
