ABP CVoter Goa Exit Poll Result 2022: Not a single party seems to be getting the majority. The final results might look like 2017, but with AAP and TMC's entry, interesting outcomes can be expected.
ABP News-CVoter Goa Exit Poll 2022: The polling for Goa assembly 2022 was held on February 14, and the state recorded a high 79% voter turnout. For the 40-member Goa legislative assembly, as many as 301 candidates are in the fray. The fate of these candidates has been sealed in the EVMs that will be unlocked on Thursday, March 10, when the assembly election 2022 results will be declared by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
Goa is said to have witnessed an intense battle this year between the Congress and the BJP. In 2017, the Congress emerged as the single largest party with 17 seats under its belt, while the BJP got 13. In terms of vote share, BJP triumphed Congress by winning 32.48% of the total vote share, which was 4% more than the Congress'.
The BJP, however, managed to form the government as it claimed to have letters of support from MGP, GFP and Independents, which took the tally up to 21 — the majority mark. Late Manohar Parrikar was made the chief minister as he gave up the defence minister post.
The 2022 elections saw a new entrant, Trinamool Congress, while the AAP is also trying its luck once again. The ABP News and CVoter conducted a post-poll survey, and the here are the results:

From the vote share percentage predicted by the ABP News-CVoter survey, the contest in the Goa assembly election 2022 appears to be between the BJP and the Congress once again. The BJP is slightly ahead, but they are falling short of the majority mark of 21.
According to the range of seats projected bythe ABP News-CVoter Exit Poll, the BJP is likely to get 13 to 17 seats, and the Congress at 12 to 16 seats. The AAP, which failed to win any seat in 2017, may get 4 to 8 seats this time.
