While releasing his party’s manifesto in Lucknow Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav said that farmers will be happy only when their loans are waived-off completely. The Party has promised women empowerment and gender justice in its manifesto.

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav said that farmers will be happy only when their loans are waived-off completely.
The Party has promised women empowerment and gender justice in its manifesto.
Lucknow: Samajwadi Party on Friday released its election manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls and appealed for greater change in the nation through social justice. Terming the manifesto as a vision document for party leaders and workers, Akhilesh said that the manifesto will be utilised to counter the Bharatiya Janata Party. While releasing his party’s manifesto in Lucknow Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav said that farmers will be happy only when their loans are waived-off completely. The Party has promised women empowerment and gender justice in its manifesto. On this occasion Akhilesh yadav also targeted BJP and said that they are making rich people more richer and poor people poorer through their policies like GST. He said that BJP has weakened the fight for social justice. “UP has given many prime ministers. I would be happy to have a PM this time too,” he added. In February, Akhilesh and Mayawati announced the allocation of seats to each partner with SP contesting on 37 seats and BSP on 38 out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh. Two seats - Amethi and Rae Bareli have been left for the Congress. Two seats were initially allocated to the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) but now SP has given one more seat from its quota to Ajit Singh's party.
