Ferozpur: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Sher Singh Ghubaya from Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) won the elections by a margin of 31420 votes. The polling / voting in Ferozpur constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 7 on 19 May. The major contest is between Shiromani Akali Dal#s Sukhbir Singh Badal and Congress Party#s Sher Singh Ghubaya

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Indian National Congress won 3 out of the 13 parliamentary seat with 33.1 percent vote share while the Shiromani Akali Dal managed to win just 4 seats with a 20.3 percent vote share.
