Chandigarh: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Kirron Kher from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 69642 votes. The polling / voting in Chandigarh constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 7 on 19 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Kirron Kher and Congress Party#s Pawan kumar bansal

ऑस्ट्रेलिया ने 15 रन से मैच जीत लिया है. विंडीज 45 ओवर तक मुकाबले में बना रहा. लेकिन स्टार्क के एक ओवर ने पूरे मैच को पलट कर रख दिया. विंडीज के लिए होप ने 68 रन बनाए, जबकि होल्डर ने भी 51 रन की पारी खेलकर विंडीज की उम्मीदों को 45वें ओवर तक बनाए रखा. स्टार्क ने 10 ओवर में 46 रन देकर 5 विकेट लिए और ऑस्ट्रेलिया की झोली में मैच डाल दिया. कमिंस ने भी कसी हुई गेंदबाजी करते हुए 10 ओवर में सिर्फ 41 रन दिए और 2 विकेट लेने में कामयाब रहे. ऑस्ट्रेलिया की जीत में कूल्टर नाइल, स्मिथ और कैरी का बड़ा योगदान रहा. 5 विकेट जल्दी गंवाने के बाद कूल्टर के 92, स्मिथ की 73 और कैरी की 45 रन की पारी ने ऑस्ट्रेलिया को 288 रन के स्कोर तक पहुंचा दिया. विंडीज की शुरुआत भी अच्छी नहीं रही थी और उसने महज 5 ओवर में दो विकेट गंवा दिए थे. हालांकि पूरन और होप ने पारी को संभालने की कोशिश की.

स्टार्क को पांचवीं सफलता मिली. कॉटरेल 1 रन बनाकर स्टार्क का पांचवां शिकार बने. यहां से ऑस्ट्रेलिया ने मैच को लगभग पूरी तरह से अपने कब्जे में कर लिया है. विंडीज के 256 रन पर 9 आउट हुए. 15 गेंद में जीत के लिए 33 रन चाहिए.

स्टार्क ने ऑस्ट्रेलिया को वो सफलता दिला दी है जो उसकी जीत की राह में सबसे बड़ी मुश्किल बन सकती थी. होल्डर 51 रन बनाकर आउट हुए. 46 ओवर के बाद विंडीज का स्कोर 252 रन है और उसे जीत के लिए 37 रन की जरूरत है. विंडीज के हाथ में सिर्फ 2 विकेट हैं.

46 ओवर की तीसरी गेंद पर स्टार्क ने ऑस्ट्रेलिया को सातवीं सफलता दिला दी है. कार्लोस ब्रेथवेट 17 गेंद में 16 रन बनाकर आउट हुए. विंडीज को जीत के लिए अभी भी 27 गेंद में 37 रन की जरूरत है.
