The voting in Badli constituency in the 2020 Assembly Election elections took place on 8th February. From Here, Aam Aadmi Party has fielded Ajesh Yadav, Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded Vijay Bhagat while Devender Yadav is contesting on a Congress Party ticket. Voting in Badli Assembly was held on 8 February in which 63.5% voters exercised their vote.  1998 Assembly Elections: In Third Assembly election, interesting battle was seen seen between BJP and INC here BJP candidate defeated his INC counterpart with a difference of 4437 votes.
 2003 Assembly Elections: In 4th Assembly election, BJP candidate defeated INC candidate with a difference of 16564 votes. Here, BJP leader Jai Bhagwan Aggarwal attained 69189 votes and INC candidate Dharm Vir Yadav bagged 52625 votes
 2008 Assembly Elections: In 5th Assembly election, INC candidate defeated BSP candidate with a difference of 13604 votes. Here, INC leader Devender Yadav attained 39215 votes and BSP candidate Ajesh Yadav bagged 25611 votes
 2013 Assembly Elections: In 6th Assembly election, INC candidate defeated BJP candidate with a difference of 23109 votes. Here, INC leader Devender Yadav attained 54372 votes and BJP candidate Vijay Kumar Bhagat bagged 31263 votes
