Aurangabad: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Chandrakant Bhaurao Khaire from Shiv Sena (SHS) won the elections by a margin of 162000 votes. The polling / voting in Aurangabad constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 3 on 23 April. The major contest is between Shiv Sena#s Chandrakant Khaire and Congress Party#s Subhash Zambad

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 23 out of the 48 parliamentary seat with 27.3 percent vote share while the Shiv Sena managed to win just 18 seats with a 20.6 percent vote share.

Out of the 27 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Aurangabad, 25 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Chandrakant Bhaurao Khaire of the Shiv Sena as he defeated Patil Nitin Suresh by a margin of 162000 votes.

• 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated Janata Dal (United) candidate by a margin of 70416 votes INC candidate Shyama Singh had got 317418 while JD(U) got Sushil Kumar Singh votes.
• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, SAP candidate had defeated Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate by a margin of 86293 votes SAP candidate Sushil Kumar Singh had got 295449 while RJD got Virendra Kumar Singh votes.
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, JD candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 23032 votes. Here, JD leader Virendra Kumar Singh attained 185761 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Satyendra Narayan Singh bagged 162729 votes
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, JD candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 52856 votes JD candidate Ram Naresh Singh had got 207642 while INC got Satyendra Narain Sinha votes.
• 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha election, JD candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 57082 votes JD candidate Ram Naresh Singh had got 269493 while INC got Shyama Singh votes.
• 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated JNP candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Satyendra Narain Singh attained 277567 votes and JNP's Shankar Deyal Singh bagged 111532 votes.
• 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha poll, JNP candidate defated Indian National Congress candidate in one-sided contest. Here, JNP candidate Satyendra Narain Singh attained 278361 votes and INC(I)'s Sidhnath Singh bagged 103532 votes.
