RRB NTPC Recruitment 2019: Online application process postponed till March 1, 2019; read official notice

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2019: Online application process has been postponed until tomorrow i.e. 1st March 2019. ‘Online Registration for Non Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) starts 01/03/2019’ read the latest update on the official website of RRB Chennai - rrbchennai.gov.in. The Indian Railways had released the Indicative Notice for 4 Employment Notices for 1,30,000 different posts in Railways on 23 rd February 2019, last week, as per which the RRBs were scheduled to begin the online application process for the NTPC i.e. Non Technical Popular Categories posts against RRB/CEN 01/2019 today i.e. Thursday, 28th February 2019, at 10:00 hrs, however the same stands deferred now.
The Indian Railways aims to hire personnel for various posts including Junior Clerk cum Typist, Account Clerk cum Typist, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistance, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Commercial Apprentice, Station Master, etc under the Non Technical Popular Category (NTPC).
A cumulative number of 30,000 vacancies has been notified for Non Technical Popular Category (NTPC), Para-Medical Staff and Ministerial and Isolated Categories; while 1,00,000 vacancies are to be filled with Level-1 posts.
Interested candidates must stay tuned and keep a close tab on their relevant regional Railway Recruitment Board website (whichever applicable) to submit their online application as and when the application window for RRB NTPC Recruitment 2019 is made live.

On the other hand, approximately 1.17 Crore candidates are awaiting the result of Indian Railways Group D Recruitment 2018 CBT against CEN 02/2018 through which the RRBs aim to recruit over 60,000 personnel.
