The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE Prelims 2024) notification today, February 14, 2024. UPSC CSE Prelims Exam 2024 registration has begun and interested candidates can apply online on the official website at upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in. The application window is set to close on February 21 at 5 pm. UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam is scheduled to be held on May 26, 2024. UPSC CSE 2024 exam aims to fill 1,056 vacancies. UPSC CSE 2024 Eligibility

- Citizenship: Candidates must be citizens of India.

- Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 21 years old and not more than 32 years old as of August 1, 2024. They should have been born between August 2, 1992, and August 1, 2003.

- Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree with at least one of the following subjects: animal husbandry and veterinary science, botany, chemistry, geology, mathematics, physics, statistics, and zoology. Alternatively, candidates can have a bachelor's degree in agriculture, forestry, or engineering from any recognized university.

All candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100. However, female candidates, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
