Registration Process For GUJCET 2024 Exam Begins On gujcet.gseb.org

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has started the online registration process for the GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) 2024. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam can submit their registration cum application forms for the same on the official website - gujcet.gseb.org. The last date to apply for the GUJCET 2024 Exam is January 16, 2024. As per the official schedule, the GSEB will conduct the GUJCET 2024 Exam on March 31, 2024. 

Before applying for the GUJCET 2024 Exam though, candidates are advised to ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria before applying. While submitting applications online, candidates from all categories will be required to pay a GUJCET 2024 Application Fee of Rs 350. To help candidates with the registration process and required documents, the GSEB has also uploaded a set of technical instructions alongside payment and form-filling instructions on the official website. 

Notably, the GUJCET is a state-level examination conducted every year by the GJHSEB for admissions into various degree programmes in Engineering and Diploma/Degree Pharmacy in several colleges in the state of Gujarat. The GUJCET question paper generally consists of 120 multiple choice questions across three sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. 

GUJCET 2023: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the admission into degree courses offered through the GUJCET 2024 Exam, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

• Candidates must have an Indian and Gujarati domicile
• Passed 12th class or equivalent from a recognized board
• Studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as the main subjects
• Candidates should have scored 45% (40% for the reserved category) in Class 12

• Visit the official GUJCET website - gujcet.gseb.org
• On the homepage, click on ‘New Registration’
• Register and then login to the portal again using your login credentials
• Fill the GUJCET 2024 Application Form as instructed
• Upload the application form and cross-verify the details furnished 
• Pay the application fee and download the receipt
• Download and save the application confirmation page for future reference
