CAT 2023 Exam Pattern

The CAT exam is divided into three distinct sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. Each candidate will have a total of 120 minutes (2 hours) to complete the entire exam. This allotted time will be equally distributed among the three sections, with 40 minutes designated for answering questions in each section. It's crucial to note that candidates won't have the flexibility to switch between sections while addressing questions within a specific section. Furthermore, to aid candidates in understanding the test format, IIM Lucknow will provide tutorials on the CAT website starting in October 2023.
