Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Patel Nagar Assembly Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

In the Patel Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of four wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the four wards of the Patel Nagar assembly constituency are West Patel Nagar, East Patel Nagar, Ranjeet Nagar, and Baljeet Nagar.

1. West Patel Nagar: In the Patel Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, West Patel Nagar is ward number eighty-five in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 69,686. The West Patel Nagar (Ward 85) MCD seat is reserved for Schedule Caste women.

2. East Patel Nagar: In the Patel Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, East Patel Nagar is ward number eighty-six in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 44,420. The East Patel Nagar (Ward 86) MCD seat is reserved for women.

3. Ranjeet Nagar: In the Patel Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Ranjeet Nagar is ward number eighty-seven in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 54,256. The Ranjeet Nagar (Ward 87) MCD seat is unreserved.

4. Baljeet Nagar: In the Patel Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Baljeet Nagar is ward number eighty-eight in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 54,213. The Baljeet Nagar (Ward 88) MCD seat is reserved for women.
