Rishi Trivedi, too, allegedly died by suicide On December 27, 2023, due to "emotional abuse" inflicted by his wife, as per his brother Omji Trivedi.

Omji has taken to social media to highlight how situations that led to Atul Subhash's suicide were similar to his brother's case. "Like Atul Subhash, my brother was also driven to take his own life due to unbearable harassment by his wife, Shikha Awasthi. On December 27, 2023, he committed suicide, unable to bear her cruelty anymore," Omji wrote in a post on X.

Omji, as per The Logical Indian, reported that after Rishi's death, his wife Shikha allegedly returned from her parents' home and demanded Rs 5 lakh. She allegedly threatened that if they did not pay, she would not allow them to perform Rishi's last rites. "She insulted us, shouted in the street, and hurled abuses at our family," Omji said. He said police ignored them even when they filed a complaint.

Atul Subhash Suicide Case

Atul Subhash in a 24-page note mentioned how he was forced to take the extreme step because her estranged wife Nikita Singhania was allegedly demanding maintenance of Rs 2 to 4 lakh and using their four-year-old son in a family court.

In the note, Subhash said that his ashes should not be immersed until he gets justice. "If justice cannot be given then my ashes should be thrown in the gutter in front of the court so that people understand that man's life is a gutter in this country," he wrote.

"I am writing this suicide note in sound disposing mind. I am committing suicide today due to the explicit instigation for suicide, harassment, extortion and corruption of individuals," he wrote. He has named five people, including his wife, his in-laws, and Principal Family Court Judge (UP), for instigating him.
