UP Weather: Rain Alert Issued For 35 Districts In UP, Thunderstorms & Lightning Likely
Rain alert for UP: Western and eastern regions forecast thunderstorms and lightning today.

UP Weather News: The weather in Uttar Pradesh is changing yet again. Due to a western disturbance, several districts across the state are experiencing intermittent rain. On Thursday, showers accompanied by strong winds were observed in nine districts, including Prayagraj and Varanasi, providing some relief from the intense heat.
According to the India Meteorological Department, similar weather conditions are expected for two days, Friday and Saturday. During this period, some districts in the eastern region may experience thunderstorms. However, the sun was back in the skies with full intensity in parts of western UP on Friday, leading to a rise in temperatures once again.
In UP today, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in both the western and eastern regions. An alert has been issued for lightning strikes along with thunder. Winds gusting at 30-40 kmph could cause disruption. However, this will not significantly affect the temperature. The sun during the day will continue to keep the day temperature high.
A bulletin from the Regional Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, read: "On 22 March, the weather is likely to remain dry in western Uttar Pradesh and there is a possibility of rain/thundershowers at isolated places in eastern Uttar Pradesh. On 23 March, the weather is likely to remain dry in both the meteorological divisions of Uttar Pradesh."
