Two Killed In Separate Road Accidents In Noida

One road accident took place on the Aligarh-Palwal highway in Noida where a bike of the youth was struck by another vehicle and another accident took place in Sector 37 of Noida.

A youth from Aligarh district lost his life in a road accident on the Aligarh-Palwal highway in Noida after his bike was struck by another vehicle, police said on Monday.

The incident took place near Jhuppa town under the jurisdiction of Jewar Kotwali area on Sunday night, Inspector Sanjay Kumar Singh from the Jewar police station told news agency PTI.

As per the statement by the victim’s grandfather, Deepak was on his way home from work in Gurugram when an unidentified vehicle hit his motorcycle late on Saturday.

Deepak sustained severe injuries and was taken to a private hospital in Jewar for treatment, where he later succumbed to his injuries, Singh stated. A report has been lodged based on the grandfather’s complaint, and an investigation is currently in progress, the inspector added.

Rickshaw Driver Died In Noida's Sector 37

In a separate incident, a rickshaw driver lost his life after being struck by an unknown vehicle in Sector 37 of Noida on Monday, police said.

The 59-year-old victim identified as, Mohammad Inshul, was a resident of Purnia district in Bihar and lived in Barola village in Noida, the Inspector-in-charge of Sector 39 police station, Jitendra Kumar Singh told news agency PTI.

Jitendra Kumar Singh added that Inshul was driving his rickshaw near Sector 37 in the morning when an unknown vehicle hit him. After the incident, he received several injuries, as a result, he was rushed to the district hospital, where Inshul was pronounced dead.

He further added that the victim's body has been sent for post-mortem and police are investigating the incident.

Five Of Family Died In Major Accident On Greater Noida Expressway

Five members of a family lost their lives in a major road accident on the Greater Noida Expressway on Sunday morning. The victims, three women, and two men, were en-route to Pari Chowk from Noida when their car was hit by a truck from behind. 

The police reached the spot and took out the bodies from the damaged car. ADCP Greater Noida Ashok Kumar said, "Today on the morning of November 10 (Sunday), a WagonR car coming at high speed hit a broken down truck from behind near Sector 146 of Knowledge Park police station. The driver died on the spot and four other people were admitted to the hospital, where the doctors declared them dead."
