Saif Ali Khan's Attacker Demanded This Much Ransom, Scuffled With Maid, Reveals FIR

Saif Ali Khan was attacked at his residence by a suspect who demanded a ransom and attacked a maid who looks after his younger son Jehangir.

The suspect who attacked actor Saif Ali Khan at his residence in the early hours of Thursday demanded ransom and had a scuffle with the maid leading to injuries on her arms, revealed the FIR filed in the case. 

Following the attack, Khan's staff lodged a complaint with the police according to which the attacker demanded a ransom of Rs 1 crore. He also scuffled with the maid who looks after Khan's younger son Jehangir.

'Thought Kareena Came To Meet Jeh'

Eliyama Philip, the maid, told the police that she had been working as a staff nurse at the actor's house for the past four years. His family lives on the 11th and 12th floors, with three rooms on the 11th floor. 

Saif and his wife Kareena Kapoor live in one room, while the other two rooms belong to their sons, Taimur and Jehnagir, or Jeh. She said Taimur is looked after by a nurse named Geeta, while Philip looks after the younger son. 

"I woke up at around 2 at night due to a sound and saw that the bathroom door was open and the light was on. Then I slept again thinking that Kareena must have come to meet Jeh Baba. But then I realised that something was wrong. So I sat up again. I saw a shadow." she told the police. 

'Tried To Attack Me, Demanded Ransom' 

The suspect came out of the bathroom and told the maid to keep quiet. "He threatened and said, no sound, no one will go out. When I went to wake up Jeh again, he ran towards me. He had a hexa blade in his hand. There was something like wood in his left hand," she said. 

During the scuffle, he tried to attack Philip with the Hexa blade. When she tried to avoid the attack by moving her hand forward, she got a wound from the blade near the wrist of both her hands and in the middle of her left hand, revealing the two-page FIR. 

"At that time I asked him 'What do you want' and he said 'Money'. I asked how much which he replied in English, 'One crore'," she said further. 

'Attacker Managed To Escape'

Hearing the commotion, Saif and Kareena came running into the room after which he attacked Saif Ali Khan, the FIR stated further. 

Saif freed the maid and locked the attacker in a room and everyone ran to the room upstairs. By then other staff members also heard their voices. "When we went back to the room with them, the door of the room was open. By then he (suspect) had run away," according to the FIR.
