Rahul Gandhi Slams Modi Govt For 'Celebrating' When People Died In Mumbra Train Accident

Rahul Gandhi slammed the Modi government for celebrating 11 years in power amid the tragic Mumbra train accident that claimed five lives. He called Indian Railways a symbol of chaos and insecurity.

Mumbra Train Accident News: Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi has slammed the Modi government at the Centre for celebrating at a time when lives were lost in the Mumbra train accident. The Narendra Modi-led government is celebrating 11 years in office. Rahul Gandhi's objection came in the wake of the Mumbra train accident, which claimed five lives on Monday.

"While the Modi Government is celebrating 11 years of service, the reality of the country is reflected in the tragic news coming from Mumbai – several people died after falling from a train. Indian Railways is the backbone of the lives of crores of people, but today it has become a symbol of insecurity, congestion and chaos," he posted on X.

"11 years of Modi government = no accountability, no change, only propaganda. The government has stopped talking about 2025 and is now selling dreams of 2047 [sic]," he said.

"Who will see what the country is facing today? I express my deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and wish the injured a speedy recovery," he further posted.
