PM Modi Heaps Praises For 'Laadle CM' Nitish Kumar At Bihar Rally, Attacks Lalu With 'Jungle Raj' Jibe - WATCH

PM Modi praised CM Nitish's role in eliminating corruption in the state. He highlighted the significant progress made by the government, comparing it to the situation under the previous rule of RJD.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as "Laadle" while addressing a rally in the Bhagalpur district after releasing the 19th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi on Monday.

The remark respecting Bihar CM was used while PM Modi began greeting all the prominent leaders who were sitting on stage and part of his rally. In the opening remark, PM Modi said, "Mere Laadle Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Ji".

During the speech, he also praised CM Nitish Kumar's role in eliminating corruption in the state. He highlighted the significant progress made by the government, comparing it to the situation under the previous rule of the Rashtriya Janata Dal.

PM Modi's Dig At Lalu Yadav

PM Modi launched a sharp attack on Bihar’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), accusing them of opposing the Maha Kumbh. Referring to Lalu Yadav’s tenure as “jungle raj,” he alleged that those unsettled by the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya are now targeting the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj.

"The so-called ‘jungle raj’ leaders have an issue with our heritage. Millions—more than the population of Europe—have taken a holy dip in the Kumbh. And, yet People of Jungle Raj are abusing Kumbh. Those who were rattled by the Ram Mandir are now speaking against Kumbh. Bihar will never forgive them," PM Modi said while addressing the rally.

His remarks came shortly after RJD chief Lalu Prasad dismissed the Maha Kumbh as "useless" and blamed the Railways for the tragic stampede at New Delhi Railway Station, which claimed at least 18 lives.

On Sunday, Modi once again criticised opposition leaders for their remarks on the Maha Kumbh, stating that those with a "slave mentality" repeatedly attack Hindu beliefs. He accused some leaders of mocking and ridiculing Hinduism while allegedly working with foreign forces to weaken the country.

Highlighting the significance of the grand event, Modi said the Maha Kumbh stands as a testament to unity and will continue to inspire future generations.
