Zerodha Suffers Technical Glitches, Users Express Ire At The Platform’s Services

The disruptions coincided with a strong bull run in the stock market, as indices hit fresh peaks in the day after exit polls over the weekend projected a third term for PM Modi’s ruling govt

Investors using the trading platform Zerodha found themselves in trouble as the app suffered through major technical glitches on Monday. The users shared their accounts of facing issues in accessing Kite Web and the company’s website.

The disruptions coincided with a strong bull run in the stock market, as indices hit fresh peaks in the day after exit polls over the weekend projected a third term for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ruling government in the current Lok Sabha elections.

One user tagged the broking platform and complained in a post on the social media platform X saying, “web application not working from morning.”

Replying to the complaint, Zerodha asked the user to refresh the app from their end. The platform in a post on X said, “Hi Mitesh, could you please do a hard refresh by pressing Ctrl + Shift + R, and check? If the issue persists, you can use the Kite app. Alternatively, you can try using an alternate internet connection and check.”

Another user via a post on X questioned the platform as to why it fails to manage its services during crucial trading days.

The platform replied and urged the user to recheck the issue as they corrected the error from their end.
