SBI Customer Alert ! Digital Services To Be Hampered Due To Maintenance From Tonight, Check Details Here
The bank has announced about the maintenance activity on its official Twitter account saying the digital services will remain affected from Friday night.
If you are a State Bank of India (SBI) customer then it is important to note that the digital services will remain affected on Friday night due to the scheduled up-gradation of the lender's digital banking platforms.
"We will undertake maintenance activities between 22:15 hrs on May 7, 2021, and 1:45 hrs on May 8, 2021. During this period INB/YONO/ YONO Lite/ UPI services will be unavailable. In April as well, the country's largest lender's digital banking platforms, including Yono, Yono lite, internet banking, Unified Payments Interface (UPI) was impacted as result of maintenance.
The bank said, "We request our esteemed customers to bear with us as we strive to provide a better banking experience."
'SBI has the largest network with over 22,000 branches and more than 57,889 ATMs across the country. As of December 31, 2020, it had 85 million internet banking and 19 million mobile banking users. The bank's number of UPI users stood at 135 million at December-end.
Meanwhile, the bank has asked customers to update Know Your Customer (KYC) details until May 31 from the comfort and safety of their homes through mail or postal service to avoid partial freezing of the account.
The decision has been taken amid the lockdown-type measures implemented by several states to contain the spread of Covid-19 infections.
At present, the bank has 35 million registered users of Yono, the digital lending platform.
