Key changes include the removal of complimentary flight ticket vouchers from renewal and milestone benefits, as well as a reduction in reward points for certain spending categories

SBI Card has announced several updates to its rewards program, set to take effect from April 1, 2025. These changes will affect several of its popular credit cards, including the Club Vistara SBI Credit Card, Club Vistara SBI PRIME Credit Card, SimplyCLICK SBI Card, Air India SBI Platinum Credit Card, and Air India SBI Signature Credit Card.

Key changes include the removal of complimentary flight ticket vouchers from renewal and milestone benefits, as well as a reduction in reward points for certain spending categories. Cardholders will earn fewer points for Swiggy transactions and Air India ticket bookings on select cards.

Here’s A Detailed Breakdown Of The Upcoming Revisions And How They May Impact Cardholders:

Club Vistara SBI Credit Cards And Club Vistara SBI PRIME Credit Cards

Starting April 1, 2025, SBI Card will introduce significant changes to the benefits associated with its Club Vistara SBI Credit Cards and Club Vistara SBI PRIME Credit Cards. One key change is the removal of the economy and premium economy ticket vouchers from renewal benefits. Additionally, milestone benefits that previously offered ticket vouchers upon reaching spending thresholds of Rs 1.25 lakh, Rs 2.5 lakh, and Rs 5 lakh will be discontinued. However, to ensure continued value for cardholders, the renewal fee of Rs 2,999 will be waived during card renewal.

SimplyCLICK SBI Card

Currently, SimplyCLICK SBI Cardholders earn 10X reward points for online Swiggy transactions. From April 1, 2025, the reward points for Swiggy will be reduced to 5X. However, the 10X reward points will still apply for online purchases made at platforms like Apollo 24X7, BookMyShow, Cleartrip, Domino's, IGP, Myntra, Netmeds, and Yatra, ensuring continued benefits for transactions on these sites.

Air India SBI Platinum Credit Card

Cardholders of the Air India SBI Platinum Credit Card currently earn 15 reward points for every Rs 100 spent on Air India tickets purchased through the airline’s mobile app or website. From March 31, 2025, this will be reduced to 5 reward points per Rs 100 spent.
