The agenda centered around the implementation and implications of Quality Control Orders (QCOs) and how these measures can be better tailored to support smaller enterprises.

The meeting aimed to gather on-ground insights and encourage greater participation from MSMEs in the standard formulation process. In a post shared on social media, Minister Goyal acknowledged the significance of the feedback received and emphasized the goal of ensuring that compliance frameworks are both practical and inclusive for small businesses.

“Held a stakeholder consultation meeting with the MSME sector to discuss the implementation of Quality Control Orders (QCOs). Appreciated their feedback on making the standard setting process more collaborative, inclusive & easier to comply with,” the Minister stated.
