Gold, Silver Prices Ease Slightly In Early Trade. Find The New Rates Here

Gold Price Today: Gold and silver prices saw a slight decline in early trade on Friday. According to the GoodReturns website, ten grams of 24-carat gold traded at Rs 72,260, down Rs 10 from the previous rate. Similarly, the price of one kilogram of silver fell by Rs 100 to Rs 82,400.
The price of 22-carat gold also saw a Rs 10 decrease, trading at Rs 66,240 for ten grams. This rate matched prices in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad. In Delhi, the rate was slightly higher at Rs 66,390, while in Chennai, the price reached Rs 67,090.
As for 24-carat gold, the rate of Rs 72,260 per ten grams in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad was in line with global trends. Meanwhile, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai reported slightly higher rates of Rs 72,410, Rs 72,260, and Rs 73,190, respectively.
Silver prices remained consistent across major cities, with one kilogram trading at Rs 82,400 in Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata. Chennai reported a higher rate of Rs 85,900 per kilogram.

On the international market, US gold prices edged lower, with a slight dip of 0.1 per cent to $2,331.15 per ounce. Prices are down almost $100 from the all-time high reached on April 12, due to ongoing geopolitical turmoil. For the week, bullion prices have declined by 2.5 per cent, as reported by Reuters.
US gold futures remained steady at $2,343.50 per ounce. In China, net gold imports via Hong Kong saw a 40 per cent increase in March from the previous month.
Spot silver experienced a slight drop of 0.1 per cent to $27.40 per ounce. Platinum saw an increase of 0.6 per cent to $919.90 per ounce, while palladium rose by 1.1 per cent to $984.73 per ounce.
JP Morgan reiterated its bullish stance on gold, maintaining a peak target of $2,600.
